Because NEbraskaCERT Conference 2008 is open to anyone with an interest in info and network security, we want to ensure everyone learns something. Speakers must gauge their audience and adapt the degree of difficulty to match the audience. We have an elite clientele who range from the novice to the expert, the technician to management or those in academia. With that in mind, course titles and descriptions should clearly indicate the intended audience so as to not disappoint our conferees. No vendor hype.

Upon acceptance, authors will be expected to prepare final presentation materials to be included in the conference proceedings. Presenters must meet the June 15, 2008 deadline for presentation materials. Any presenter who misses this deadline may be removed from the program and replaced by alternate presenters. If information is perishable, please contact the Speaker Chair (available via email to the "certconf2008" user at CERTConf) for further instructions.

The preferred format for the conference handouts and presentations is Adobe Acrobat .pdf files. If other software packages are used, please coordinate with the Speaker Chair to ensure compatibility.

Hotel and travel expenses are not waived. The registration fee is waived for one presenter for each presentation. Co-presenters must decide which person will receive a fee waiver. All other co-presenters must pay the full registration fee.
